Qivaro Health Diary [Children's Health | Beware of Childhood Malnutrition]
Causes of malnutrition
Poor eating habits and the types of food consumed are closely related to the nutrition children get. Insufficient food intake or food that doesn't provide enough nutrients can lead to malnutrition. Furthermore, many children today are picky eaters, making it even more difficult for them to get enough nutrition.
Effects/symptoms of malnutrition:
-
Feeling tired
-
Prolonged recovery time from infection/illness
-
A decrease in white blood cells leads to a weakened immune system.
-
Emotional instability
